I think renewing old products is a great way to build a more sustainable consumer culture. Too many things get used and thrown out in an instant, whereas twenty years ago, products were something you would nurture and use for a very long time. My parents still have a Sony TV from the 80s! And it still works! I, too, am anticipating the day my first gen iphone will become "cool" haha.

Thanks for sharing. This is an interesting topic.

Pain is what some people need to change and to make better decisions. Fear for the consequences is what made the premium bird feed clan pay up.

I say raising the bar would make more sense. Giving positive reinforcement to negative behavior foster cry-babies.
